A Banner of Bells for All Saints’ Day: November 3, 2019
The main support of the banner is in the shape of a cross from which bells are hung by ribbons. The bells bear the names of those in or connected with our church family who passed away this year or at any time in the past. If you have submitted a name in the past years, the bells remains on the banner. The banner will then be carried in during the service at 10:30 am.

Real world objects provide lots of teachable moments!
In learning about fall, our students are exploring pumpkins. They weigh them, measure their height, do sink/float experiments with them, draw still life art of them, observe the inside of them, learn what color they were, and learn about the life cycle of pumpkins-the list goes on and on!
Open Enrollment for the 2019-2020 school year (ages 1 year – kindergarten) is going on now! If you know a family with young children, please tell them about our school so they can learn and grow with us!

Holiday Box for Those Experiencing Homelessness — A program of The Stewpot
The holidays are almost here and everyone, including our friends in need, appreciate receiving gifts in the spirit of the season. You are invited to fill a shoe box with inexpensive necessity items that might make living on the streets a little easier. This is a great project for individuals, families, faith, school or scout groups, and civic organizations! Use an empty shoe box (standard size). Please only use boxes that have a separate bottom and lid. Please wrap the lid and the box separately. The box should not be wrapped shut when finished. Fill the box with a variety of small, inexpensive gifts. Use the gift ideas listed. Please fill boxes with ADULT, UNISEX items only. Once filled, place a rubber band around each box. Add a personal note in a separate envelope. You may enclose a holiday card or note from you/your family or group. (Please do not include addresses or phone numbers.) Place your note inside the box.
- Gift Ideas:
- Knit hat
- Small flashlight with batteries
- Pens or pencils
- Knit gloves
- Disposable stick razors

Boxes will be distributed by The Stewpot. The contents of excess boxes may be used to supplement distributions of items throughout the year. Thank you for showing, by word and deed, you care for our friends in need.
THESE BOXES WILL BE COLLECTED IN THE LOBBY ON SUNDAYS, NOVEMBER 17 & 24.
