United Methodist Women Sunday
Sunday, October 15, is United Methodist Women’s Sunday. Join us as Rev. Sarah Squires brings the message. Sarah graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Elementary Education. She holds a Master of Christian Education from Southern Methodist University, Perkins School of Theology, and is an Ordained Deacon in the United Methodist Church. Sarah has been on the staff of Wesley-Rankin Community Center in West Dallas for 7 years, and has held the position of Executive Director for 6 years.

Saturday from 7 am to 3 pm in the Gym
Garage sale setup and pricing begins October 16 @ 9:00. We will work 9-2 Mon, Tues, Thurs & Friday and 9-9 on Wed. Everyone can help and hours can be flexible. So, please come, get to know your fellow parishioners and enjoy the fun and fellowship. Star — Monday, Oct. 16 at 7:00 p.m. — Sandy Jones will do a program on “Mothers in Action,” and there will be a light supper.
Inspirational and Sunshine meet together — Tuesday, Oct. 17 at 10:00 a.m. — Bridget Maloney will speak, and lunch will be served.
Sharing Hearts will make items for hospital patients — Wednesday, Oct. 25 at 9:30

Choir Rehearsal for Christmas Music
If you are interested in filling the choir loft with Christmas music, you are invited to come to choir rehearsal on Wednesdays at 7 pm in Harmony Hall.
First Methodist School – Bags for Bucks!
“Trash Bags for Bucks” is back! We are selling 55, 39, and 15 gallon trash bags for $12.00 per roll. They are twice as thick as Hefty and are made in the USA. Buy your trash bag supply from us and tell your relatives, friends, neighbors, and neighborhood businesses too! Samples are available outside the school office. We will be taking orders through Oct 20. Proceeds benefit technology and classroom updates. Thank you in advance for your continued support!
