November Communion Rail Offering
Kings Organization Hospital in Port Au Prince, Haiti has one of the two Bachelor of Science in Nursing Programs in the country. In Haiti, upon completion of a nursing program, students must meet all governmental regulations before being allowed to sit for the country’s nursing exam. November’s communion rail offering will help nursing graduates pay off their loans and work for a decent wage and thus able to support their families.
The Charge Conference will be held this Sunday, November 5,at 6:00 pm at First United Methodist Church in DeSoto, 310 Roaring Springs. All are invited to attend.
At the Charge Conference on Sunday, November 5, lists of inactive members are presented. The list is presented two years to make sure that those persons are no longer wanting to be members of FUMCD or cannot be located. Please look over the lists and if you have contact information on any of these names, let Pat Daniel know at 972.298.6121 or email@example.com. If approved, the second reading list names are removed from our roles by act of Charge Conference.
What fun for the kids and “older” kids. Click here for more pictures from Trunk or Treat.
