Crafters, woodworkers, artists and other talented people – we need your help!!
The purpose of having vendors at the Fall Festival is to make as much money as possible for the mission work of this church. This is best accomplished when church members are willing to donate their products to be sold at the festival. There are 3 ways you can help.
If you are willing to help in one of these 3 ways please contact Joyce Gregory at 972-298-0214 as soon as possible. We would much rather have our own members participate before we seek vendors from outside the church.
On Sunday there were five retired teachers from the Business Department at Duncanville High School at church. We all began in the 1960s, 70s, and 80s. We all taught part or all of the following subjects—typing, shorthand, and accounting. Later most of us transitioned to computers.
Collectively we had 124 years experience. From l to r: Pat Daniel, Bettie Reichert, Pat Shipley, Linda Golden and Jeri Rorie. We can tell some stories.
2017 Fall Festival will be October 21st and 22nd
There will be the big garage sale so start cleaning your closets, cabinets, and drawers.
We will set up Aldersgate for vendors. Contact David and Joyce Gregory if you wish to sell your wares. 972.298.0214
The Health Fair will return this year. Edna Alegria and Charisse Groenleer are in charge of this event.
First Methodist School Spring Program!
We are now enrolling for Summer Fun and the 2017-2018 school year and we have a few spots remaining for the 2016-2017 school year (2 & 4 year old, kindergarten). If you know a family with young children, please tell them about our school so they can learn and grow with us!
