News From Panama
Exciting news from Panama concerning blessings and uses of the clinic!
Cindy Ceballos writes of the many ways the clinic is being used. The school across the street from the clinic is shut down for construction so classes for the children are being held on the grounds of the compound and inside the clinic! Beside having medical teams work out of the clinic, Cindy has had several day clinics, and education days in the clinic. School uniform distribution was held inside the clinic where it is cool! Cindy said it is getting lots of varied uses besides taking care of local community needs. Her words are, “What a blessing in so many ways!”
Easter Weekend was filled with Brenda Davis and Betsy Stelzer telling and singing the Easter story, eating pancakes, children hunting Easter eggs, worshipers at the Sunrise Service as well as modern and traditional services. Click here for more pictures of the activities.

UMCOR Early Response Training Class
Dr. Frank Alegria and the Mission Committee are inviting interested members of our congregation to register for an UMCOR Early Response Training Class to be held at our church. The date of the class is April 23, 2016. The event will take place in Aldersgate Hall. Time is 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Lunch, snacks, tea, coffee, and water will be served.
Since the Christmas tornadoes, I think we all are conscience of the fact that it really can happen in our area! Being an Early Responder equips us to assist survivors of natural disasters.
Go to www.ntcmissionaloutreach.org You can read about the class and register at that site.
