VBS Thank You
Thank you to ALL of the youth and adult volunteers who made VBS 2017 a success! The children enjoyed dinner, Bible stories, music, recreation, crafts and science. We could not have done any of it without the crowd of volunteers! You are all heroes!

Alex, Emma & Henry’s Last Sunday at FUMCDThe congregation said goodbye to Rev. Alex Williams, wife Emma and baby Henry as he has been appointed to his own church as senior pastor. Best wishes to Alex.
Youth Mission Trip Commissioning
The youth of FUMCD were commissioned as they begin their mission trip to Wichita Falls for Senior High this week and Quitman for Junior High next week. Keep them and their sponsors in your prayers.
Administrative Board Meeting
An Administrative Board Meeting will be held on Sunday, June 25 at 11:45 in Harmony Hall. All are invited to attend.
“The CASA Quilters of FUMCD will display their hand- made quilts and blankets to be blessed on Sunday, June 25th. The quilts will be delivered to CASA Headquarters where they will be given by counselors to children under their supervision. Quilts have been donated by a friend in California as well as from ladies from other local churches who join our group to quilt, knit and crochet. Our group meets at 10:00 a.m. on the first and third Thursday of each month in the Snack Bar, and we welcome anyone interested in joining us, whatever your skill level.”
