Project 3.7 Update
The container arrived on July 15, 2014 and the clinic left on July 7, 2015.
What a year!!!
Tuesday, July 7, 2015, our clinic was lifted by a crane on to a truck that will deliver it to Houston. It will be placed on the dock the 8th or 9th of July and will set sail for Santiago, Panama on the 14th of July. The estimated date of arrival in Panama is July 20th. Many joined in the celebration and process of lifting the container/clinic which was loaded with 13,000+ pounds of items to be used to assist the people in so many ways.

Wishing Peyton the best
Peyton Tippett, Director of Youth Ministries, will begin the next chapter of his life after Sunday, July 12, where the Staff Parish Relations Committee will host a reception in the Narthex from 10:00-10:45 in his honor before he begins his new job at Highland Park UMC.
Betsy Stelzer, the Director of Music Ministries, began on Sunday, July 5, and the choir was amazing singing “Battle Hymn of the Republic.”
Welcome Debi Ely as the Administrative Associate. Debi and her husband Garry are members of FUMCD. Debi’s voice is the friendly one you will hear when you call the church office.
The United Methodist Men in conjunction with the B3X Summer Camp program from Wesley Rankin, provided 12 children attending the camp with fishing poles and tackle boxes and taught them how to fish at Lakeside Park in Duncanville. They cooked hot dogs and had chips along with homemade cookies prepared by Letitia Nachtrieb. What fun. Bet our fishermen had as much fun as the kids!

JUNIOR HIGH MISSION TRIP
Ten youth and 4 adults are spending the week in mission in Stephenville, Texas where they will be building wheel chair ramps. This is the first mission trip for most of the youth going so it will be a great experience for them. Keep them all in your prayers.
STAFF IN DUNCANVILLE PARADE
Many of the staff created and rode in a float at the Duncanville July 4 Parade. Uncle Sam accompanied us on the back and Angie Bilbrey, Pastor Alex Williams and Linda Elms passed out 900+cards while Sergey and Daniel Ivory, Wesley Solomon and Jensen Harper handed out 25 pounds of candy. Lynn Downey donated the signs and trailer.
