Healthy Church Initiative
Following church on Sunday, the Healthy Church Initiative Consultation Report was presented with the Strengths and Concerns shared by many over the past year. Five Prescriptions were presented by the Committee. On Sunday, February 11, following worship, there will be a Town Hall Meeting in Aldersgate to discuss these issues. Bring your covered dish and enjoy the fellowship as we discuss our future as a church family. There are copies of this in the church office, or one can be mailed to you by calling 972.298.6121.

Tissues and Disinfecting Wipes for Central Elementary
This flu season has hit our area in a big way! In an effort to help protect the student, faculty and staff at Central Elementary, we will be collecting boxes of Kleenex and packages of disinfecting wipes for their classrooms. Please bring your donations to the collection station in the lobby when you come to worship this weekend.
Heifer International Offering
Pick up a canister this Sunday in the lobby, fill it with change, and bring it to church with you on Sunday, February 25, 2018.
The children of FUMC will be collecting money that day in pails and wagons for the annual Children’s Sabbath offering for Heifer International. This money will be sent directly to Heifer International to help families in developing areas become self-sufficient. Our goal this year is $5,000 which will purchase an “ark”; two water buffalos, two cows, two sheep and two goats, along with bees, chicks, rabbits and more.
