One Great Hour of Sharing
Every year on the first Sunday in March, United Methodists celebrate “One Great Hour of Sharing”. Special offerings on that Sunday provide financial life support to UMCOR….United Methodist Committee On Relief.
UMCOR responds to natural disasters, disease outbreaks and civil unrest all over the world. UMCOR helps rebuild and renew lives.
“One Great Hour of Sharing” underwrites costs of doing business so the humanitarian arm of the United Methodist Church can promise that 100 percent of any gift to a specific UMCOR project will go to that ministry, not to administrative costs.
Communion Offering March 6, 2016, is designated for UMCOR through “One Great Hour of Sharing!
