Update – Fundraiser for Youth Mission Trip
Thank you to everyone who has made a donation to the youth summer mission trip! So far, we have collected $1,289. The youth are looking forward to partnering again this summer with UM Army to provide assistance to homeowners in Texas with maintenance and building projects. The cost per participant to register is $250 and we are expecting to send 10-12 participants and 3-4 adults this year. Every dollar you donate helps a fellow Texan in need.
The Wall of Envelopes is in the Narthex and each envelope is marked with dollar amounts. We invite members and friends to choose an envelope, place the designated dollar amount (or more) in the envelope and return it to one of the young people working at the display. This is a great way to participate in sharing the Good News of Christ even if you can’t personally build a wheelchair ramp or replace a roof with us! Envelopes will be available this Sunday, February 24 and may be returned that day or the following Sunday.
