Come Rain or Come Shine by Jan Karon (Fic Kar)
Karon, author of the bestselling series The Mitford novels, tells the story of Father Tim Kavanagh’s adopted son’s wedding. Plans are made for a simple, inexpensive event. In true Karon and Mitford style things are not always simple.

Chinese Pistachio Planted in Memory of Delancey Spain
The Missions Committee and others purchased and had planted a Chinese pistachio tree in front of the sanctuary. The Spain family was very active in our church and their daughter Sarah was a member of the Missions Committee.
ACCESS is a new Sunday evening worship experience that will start on April 3, 2016 in Aldersgate. ACCESS will be like nothing we’ve ever done before here at FUMCD. ACCESS will begin at 5:30pm each Sunday night starting in April. It will be a very casual and authentic worship experience where you can find guest preachers, testimonies, diverse worship music and delicious homemade sweet treats!
We hope you will join us on April 3rd for this exciting new venture!

Heifer International Collection
Pennies, nickles, dimes, quarters, bills, and checks were collected by the children on Sabbath Sunday for Heifer International, the children’s mission project.
With still many coins remaining, as of Monday afternoon $3,481.50 has been counted. If you were unable to be at church on Sunday, your money will still be greatly appreciated. The goal is $5,000 which will purchase an ark. We have done that for 6 years.
Children’s Sabbath sponsored by United Methodist Women—February 14
The children led worship and sang on Children’s Sabbath. They did a wonderful job. CLICK HERE to view more pictures from Children’s Sabbath.

We have a few spots available for the 2015-2016 school year (ages 1-kindergarten) and will begin open enrollment for Summer Fun and the 2016-2017 school year Mar. 1. Enrollment information can be found here. Thank you for telling others about our GREAT school!
