ASH WEDNESDAY, February 14
Covenant Gardens Work Day
United Methodist Women’s Children’s Sabbath Heifer International Offering
Pick up a canister this Sunday in the lobby, fill it with change, and bring it to church with you on Sunday, February 25, 2018.
The children of FUMC will be collecting money that day in pails and wagons for the annual Children’s Sabbath offering for Heifer International. This money will be sent directly to Heifer International to help families in developing areas become self-sufficient. Our goal this year is $5,000 which will purchase an “ark”; two water buffalos, two cows, two sheep and two goats, along with bees, chicks, rabbits and more.
Sing for Joy
You are invited to be a part of the Chancel Choir during the Season of Lent.
Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 pm in Harmony Hall. The choir sings many times during the Lenten Season and would love for you to be a part of this wonderful group.
