Together We Can Fight the Flu
FACT: The flu vaccination does not protect people from all strains of the influenza virus. But to help prevent it, it’s important to boost your immune system by eating more vegetables, bundle up when it gets cold, wash your hands, and stay away from anyone with the flu.
FACT: The vaccine, like almost all medications, isn’t immediate. It takes time.

The Perot Museum Visited First Methodist School!
To extend their unit on weather in class, our kindergarten class learned about meteorology from Perot Museum educator Marsha last week! They used an anemometer, thermometers, and cloud identification cards to explore the weather around them. Our classrooms extend beyond the four walls of our buildings!
Open Enrollment for the 2019-2020 school year (ages 1 year – kindergarten) is going on now! If you know a family with young children, please tell them about our school so they can learn and grow with us!

A Prayer for Everyday
Loving heavenly Father, we come to you this hour asking for your blessing and help as we are gathered together. We pray for guidance in the matters at hand and ask that you would clearly show us how to conduct our work with a spirit of joy and enthusiasm. Give us the desire to find ways to excel in our work.
