Welcome to Macie Liptoi
Welcome to the newest member of our church staff, Macie Liptoi, who will assume the position of Assistant to the Director of Music Ministries.
Macie grew up at Custer Road UMC in Plano and recently graduated from Abilene Christian University with a BA in Worship Ministry. She has declared her candidacy for ministry in the United Methodist Church and plans on attending SMU Perkins School of Theology in the fall of 2017 to earn her Masters of Divinity.
Macie lives in an area with many other SMU Perkins students.
During Children’s Worship time at 9 and 11, children ages 5 through 2nd grade, should come to worship with their parents and then leave with Ms. Bridget when dismissed. The boys and girls will go to Wesley Hall to learn about why and how we worship God by using Mary Jane Pierce Norton’s book, Children Worship!

Fall Kickoff Event
Our Children’s and Youth Ministries had BIG FUN at their Fall Kick Off events this Sunday! All of our students enjoyed a meal hosted by Ms. Betsy, our fantastic music director, and volunteers before separating for the Children’s Fun Fest and Youth Mess Fest.
In addition to learning about all of the exciting things planned for them this year’s Fall Kick Off, children played several active, FUN-filled games then participated in an obstacle course with a few youth. During this time, parents came out to hear about all of our fantastic ministries with children from music to a mission trip in the spring. To wrap up our FUN evening, everyone enjoyed a tasty popsicle before heading home!
Also as part of our Fall Kick Off, our youth took part in Mess Fest, which definitely lived up to its name! From smashing eggs on their own heads to bobbing for biscuits in a pool full of gravy, the youth participated in some rather messy games that will have them finding “little reminders” of their fun in shoes, hair, and ears for days to come.
